We started Future Black Filmmakers because we saw a serious gap in opportunities for Black youth in film. Too many of us were feeling overlooked and unsupported in the industry, so we created a space where young Black creatives could be seen, heard, and celebrated.
This community is here to help you grow, whether you're just starting out or already have experience. Our goal is to give you the support, guidance, and inspiration you need to thrive as a storyteller.
In our monthly Zoom sessions, you'll connect with other passionate creatives, hear directly from industry professionals, and gain real insight into how to begin your journey in film. You'll have the chance to share your ideas, ask questions, and build a strong network of peers and mentors.
Together, we're shaping the future of film and we can't wait for you to be part of it!
